Regenerative medicine is a promising interdisciplinary field focused on developing novel treatments aimed to restore and/or regenerate diseased and injured tissues in human and veterinary medicine.
The workshop will give a theoretical overview of the current trends in Regenerative Medicine for the treatment of orthopaedic conditions in small and large animals, and through a practical workshop address the preparation, biology and mechanism of action of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and related concentrates involved in tissue regeneration and resolution of inflammation.
